Our Logo
Every detail in the Old Mill Goods logo is deeply intentional.
The Four-Armed Mill
A nod to the Zia symbol, sacred in New Mexican culture.
It represents:
- The four seasons
- The four directions
- The four times of day
- The four phases of life
- And in our case, a quiet nod to the four phases of the cycle.
Five Bees
Without bees, there is no food. These five bees represent:
- Pollination — the beginning of nourishment
- Community — bees work as a hive
- Preservation — of nature, and of food traditions
Seven Poppies
Poppies are native flowers to New Mexico, and a symbol of beauty, resilience, and restoration. There are seven to honor:
- The seven days in a week "because each day is another chance to make things right"
"Goods" Has 5 Letters
A subtle reflection of the five bees, and our belief in:
- Good food
- Good care
- Good stories
- Good community
575
The Roswell area code (575) is stamped in Abigail’s story and in the land where this brand was born to remind us:
- Of home
- Of legacy
With Love,
Old Mill Goods
